Registration is completed online through MyGateway. You can register through MyGateway on your assigned date and time, or anytime thereafter during registration hours. Registration is subject to established deadlines for adding, dropping, payments and refunds.

Registration and MyGateway Assistance:
  • Student ID #:  Access your ID # by entering your 9-digit SS# and PIN. Click the login and go to Personal Information - "What is my ID?" Note: If you did not provide your SS # when you applied online, you must come into the Admissions and Records Office and present photo identification to obtain your Student ID#.
  • Personal Identification Number (PIN):              
  • (a) Enter the six-digit alpha-numeric PIN you created during the application process. If your PIN was less than six characters, you must add one or more asterisk " * " to the end of your PIN to make it six characters in length.
  • (b) If you did not enter the six digit alpha-numeric PIN, use your six-digit date of birth:   [June 1, 1984 = 060184].   NOTE: You must have a six-digit PIN in order to log into MyGateway
  • (c) If you are unable to log into your MyGateway account or your PIN has become disabled, click "PIN Reset." Keep your PIN stored in a safe place. Remember to change your PIN often for security purposes.
  • Additional information on how to register for classes and payment information can be viewed in our Schedule of Classes.
  • After you have registered, you can print out your 'Class Schedule' listing for your classes in order to purchase books and supplies at the Cypress College Bookstore.
  • If you are unsuccessful with this registration process you may come into the Admissions and Records Office or call (714) 484-7346.
