Cypress Highlights: The starting shortstop for the Chargers in 2009… was named an all-Southern California and First Team all-Orange Empire Conference selection… averaged .372 with 15 stolen bases and 15 RBI… was three-for-four with two RBI and two runs scored against Ventura on April 4th.
High School Highlights: A four-year standout for the Gladiators… was a four time First-Team all-San Gabriel League selection… was named the team’s Most Valuable Player twice… was named the team’s Best Offensive Hitter… went to the CIF Semi-Finals as a senior.
Personal: Born on December 12, 1989… parents are Helen and Eddie Alvarado… siblings are Frankie and Jessie… majoring in criminal justice… came to Cypress because of the, “good softball program and nice campus.”
